Since 1981, the Skills for Employment, Life & Family has provided basic literacy instruction to over 10,000 English-speaking adults, ages 16 years of age and older within the Peel Region.

As a not-for-profit organization we depend on fundraising events within the community. For five years a team-based spelling bee for adults, has been the our signature event. I am delighted to let you know that on June 7th, 2007 we will be holding the 6th Annual 'Spell-Rite-Nite'.
