Innovation
The Guild works toward continuously improving its services through evaluation and review of its programs. In recognition of the quality of our review and reporting process, the Ministry of Training Colleges and Universities, Literacy and Basic Skills Section, re distributed the Guild's core quality standard reports to all provincially funded literacy programs as a positive example of how to approach program review and enhancement.
The Guild has always believed that adults with disabilities who wish to improve their literacy skills should have the same opportunities and services available to able-bodied non-readers. To this end, we have worked with other support agencies to provide an integrated literacy service that is responsive to many special needs.
Through its commitment to working with other agencies, the Guild has ensured that the Region of Peel has the highest level of co-operation among literacy providers in the province.
